2. Who can use Gigi
Gigi is intended for individuals aged 18 or older.

3.1 Data you provide directly

Content you create on the platform (introduction requests, notes, drafts)
3.2 Gmail connection and email data
With your explicit consent, Gigi may connect to your Gmail account to enable core product features, including:
identifying existing relationships,
facilitating warm introductions.
When you choose to send an email through Gigi:
the email is sent from your own Gmail account,
the content, recipients, and timing are explicitly reviewed and validated by you,
Gigi does not send emails autonomously or without your direct action.
Gigi acts solely as a technical interface.
All messages sent through the Service remain under the sole responsibility of the user.
You may revoke Gmail access at any time.
3.3 Enriched and third-party data
Gigi may enrich profiles using:
publicly available data (e.g. LinkedIn),
third-party information tools (e.g. Perplexity),
data explicitly provided by users.
This enrichment is used for contextual and informational purposes only.
We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or freshness of such data.
3.4 Sensitive data
Gigi does not require sensitive personal data.
Users may choose to share opinions or contextual notes. These are processed solely to provide the Service and are not used for profiling or automated decision-making.
4. How we use your data
We use your data to:
operate and maintain the Service,
enable search and discovery within your network,
facilitate introductions only upon explicit user action,
improve product functionality and security,
prevent abuse and misuse.
5. AI processing
Some features rely on third-party AI providers (e.g. OpenAI).
User data is not used to train AI models.
AI outputs are assistive and informational only.
Gigi does not perform automated decision-making that produces legal or material effects on users.
6. Data sharing
We share personal data only:
when you explicitly choose to share it (e.g. sending an introduction),
with trusted service providers acting on our behalf:
cloud hosting (Google Cloud Platform),
analytics (Amplitude),
transactional emails (SendGrid),
when required by law.
We do not sell personal data.

provide the Service,
comply with legal obligations.
You may request deletion of your data at any time. Upon deletion, your data is permanently removed unless retention is legally required.
